Stuff's 100,000 Pageview Giveaway Winner!

Heeeeey old friends (and new followers)! Word of warning: I am sort of distracted while writing this post ... I just got back from taking BF to see "Skyfall," Sterling Meowlory is being adorable, and there are two awesome character actors playing judges on tonight's "The Good Wife."

And now the moment we've all been waiting for ... the winner of my 100,000 Pageview Giveaway and the winner of the Color Club Back to Boho set:

Congrats, Mary D!

Thank you, all of you, for participating and reading! If you missed out on this giveaway, never fear ... ROYGBIV Holiday is coming up sooooooon.

How'd everyone's weekend go? Here's a bonus picture my friend Jennifer snapped during a stop at an awesome vintage boutique yesterday afternoon. I hate pictures, and this is one of the few pictures from yesterday in which my (grievous) choice of dress does not make me look like I just entered my second trimester.

Scotty cardigan: H&M
Mary janes: Indigo by Clarks Plush

I like the idea of vintage shopping, but it's just not feasible for me because of my sizing and my allergies to a good deal of synthetic fabrics. I wish I were brave enough and more of a skilled photographer to start a fashion blog for people who are (A) allergic to everything that isn't cotton and (B) who are not tiny white girls who love Modcloth. Not to be SUPER salty if you are a tiny white girl who loves Modcloth (you know I love you girls), but I get tired of reading the same kind of blog over and over again. That being said, I hope Stuff gives you a little variety in the nail blogosphere, at least in terms of commentary.

Okay, time to bake a cake and watch "Moonrise Kingdom."

    D) So bored of tiny-white-girls-in-Modcloth fashion blogs.

    E) I'm going to start a fashion blog for slightly chubby girls with an unhealthy reliance on leather jackets and not wearing real pants.

    1. A) Dude, I LOVE those shoes. The brand is just so solid.

      B) He will come with you happily if you play with him and scratch him behind his ears.

      C) TOO FAT AND BOOBTASTIC FOR VINTAGE PROBLEMS

D & E) I get salty but who knows, there's a chance that if I were such a blogger, my blog would have the same content, sponsors and all. They always say to write the blog you want to read, and I see nothing for ladies with my/our sizing and allergies. :/ I can't haz fashun, yo.

    1. Thank you! I like vintage shopping in theory, but I can't go home with anything that isn't a hat or a purse, LOL. Consignment shopping, though? OMG YES.

Thank you for checking out my little nail blog! I do read and appreciate your comments and/or feedback, although it might take me a few days to get back to you. Time-sensitive inquiries should be directed to my e-mail address (rachswatched@gmail).

Please be polite and respectful when responding to others' comments in a post; if you are rude, I will delete your comment and Hannibal Lecter will eat you. Please don't leave spam comments with blog links -- it's tacky and I don't do it. Neither should you.
