I know I said I would announce the winners on Friday, but my work schedule changed and I ended up having to go in. (Until last weekend, I was able to work from home on most Fridays, but work is work, right?) A long work day + family stuff = me falling asleep in the car on the way home, enough to the point where I faceplanted into my bed for the rest of the night.
Basically, I did not get a chance to do any blog stuff until Saturday morning. And then I made the mistake of not thoroughly going through y'alls entries and letting Rafflecopter do the work for me! Long story short, I done fucked up BIG TIME while contacting winners for the U.S. prize pack, so instead of having 2 winners, there now are 3. Because I made a mistake, the only way to make it fair was to assemble another set of polishes. If that's okay with y'all, that's more than okay with me!
Congratulations to Vi and Ali, who won the U.S. packs, and to Danielle, who won the international prize (the Sephora e-gift card)! I've e-mailed everyone and they've all replied, so everyone's prizes are on the way.
This should teach me to drink my coffee first, right? Ha.
A huge THANK YOU to all of you who entered! I loved reading your comments in the blog post, and hearing about your favorite polishes and movies (so far) of 2014. I personally cannot answer that question because it is wayyyyyyy too "Sophie's Choice" for my decision-addled brain, so you guys already bested me there.
I also wanted to thank you for reading and supporting this blog! There are innumerably more nail blogs now than there were when I first started blogging (and even starting to read nail blogs), so I truly appreciate that you take a few minutes out of your day to read mine. <3 This goes doubly if you leave comments, since I love interacting with my fellow lacquerheads. I hope to keep hearing from you!
P.S. Whether I have posts up this week depends on what time I get home from work. Shopping My Stash is scheduled for Friday -- I haven't picked out a polish yet, but fair warning, those photos might be really janky. :(
